"Located in the downtown area of a small town in western MN, Canby Inn & Suites is a gem. We stayed here for 3 nights as our home base during a birding weekend. Every staff member greeted us warmly and offered to do whatever they could to make our stay comfortable. When we advised that we would be heading out at 5:30 am one of the mornings of our stay, they had freshly brewed coffee ready for us to take along. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lodge on Detroit Lake. The staff was genuinely helpful and pleasant. The Lodge is steps from the lake and the back faces west, I can imagine it's a beautiful sight on an evening with a colorful sunset!"
