"Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. "Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. "

"We rented the whole house and overall we had a good time, but probably wouldn’t rent here again. The house was not very clean when we got there. Luckily we brought some cleaning stuff so we cleaned it up and felt better about it. The one side had small gnat looking bugs all over the ceiling when we arrived as well as in the bathroom on side B. I assume because maybe the cleaning people or the people before us had the door open and they flew in, but it was kind of gross that the cleaning people...
