"Cannot say as i did not stay due to the manager trowing me out for letting my partner use the toilet the got me charged with drink driving for trying to sleep in my car as did not have anywhere else to go"

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and lovely, the staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast was very filling and delicious. Also, the hotel has spacious parking, and it is not too far from Windermere station, the lake, or many restaurants and shops. Each is about a 10-15-minute walk away. I would strongly recommend this hotel as a comfortable base for enjoying the Lake District. The only slightly disappointing point was that we were not informed...

"Latimer House was a restful stay midway between downtown and waterfront. This place had 5 parking spaces which we were lucky to park though we were there during off season. Suggested alternative parking on the streets, though they seemed full as well. Directions provided ahead of time were clear, concise and helpful for an easy check in. Room was spacious, and on the first floor had large patio that overlooked a garden and was well equipped including a small fridge."

"The breakfast was really YUMMY. I had the avocado toast ( amazing) and my husband had the English breakfast( he said it was the best!!). Staff really nice and helpful. 5/5 star Room was beautifully decorated and bathroom was huge and beautiful too. Perfect location to walk village and also hike!!"

The staff could not do enough for us throughout our visit; they were warm, attentive, and made us feel completely looked after from start to finish. "Easy self check in. The room was very spacious with full bathroom and toiletries. Also had a hairdryer. The breakfast was excellent 👌 with plenty of choice which you ordered the night before. Staff were helpful and restocked the breakfast table with fruit, juice and yoghurt. I loved the fact that there were mugs on the tables, depicting the Wainwrights! Nice touch. Parking was a bit tight if you returned late, but for one night, it was fine. Would definitely stay again!"
