"We have stayed in Millside cottage several times previously. The cottage has obviously had an upgrade which to be honest was needed, but it's in a lovely location, convenient for travel (minutes to Keswick by car), walking etc. It now has a new log burner, new shower, coffee machine in the kitchen and the paint has freshened up the whole place. Parking is dedicated for two cars and is generally okay but the lane can get busy and congested. There is a new electric charging point for those guests...

"The view of the mountains is stunning. The house is comfortable with plenty of space. It is well equipped with a delightful garden. Portinscale is a lovely setting with a very nice cafe and pub."
