"A wonderful place of respite, with lots of thoughtful amenities. Before this trip, I didn't really know what a Dark Skies community was, but oh, how we enjoyed laying out on the balcony at night, looking at the sky and seeing countless stars, compared to the few visible from home. Close enough to town to visit it at will, and just far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet, and the voices of birds of all kinds. "I booked this for my husband bc his friends were camping at the campground down the street and he didn’t want to camp as it was cold outside. He loved it so much, he didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect little house complete with a coffee maker, microwave, updated bathroom/shower, large comfy bed and the cutest patio. He keeps talking about it, so we will rebook soon."

"My elderly parents and I were elated throughout our stay in this lovely cabin with vintage flair. It is within walking distance to Cuyamaca Lake and within a short drive to Julian. The cabin is very clean, and it has all the kitchen essentials, laundromat combo, TV, WiFi, etc. We have stayed here before, and we were glad to come back for the peace and tranquility we enjoy in these paradise-like surroundings. "We loved our little getaway to this special Cabin in Julian Ca. Everything was clean, cared for and very on point with the 50s cabin theme. John was attentive, helpful and easy to reach. He let us adjust the reservation last min and we loved reading about his personal family history and reason for buying the cabin. It was secluded, private but very close to everything in town. Just what we were looking for, we will definitely be back! "
