"Upon check-in we found the property to be spotless. It appears to be well maintained and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was great.The water around the dock is very shallow, which makes it a good spot to wade or swim....but not for fishing. We did not realize until we arrived that the entire lake is pretty shallow (about 20 feet maximum depth). "Property was clean and as described. Ideal location, nice and quiet on a channel, rooms a good size and garden was perfect for sitting out in. We didn’t have dogs but were aware that the property does accept dogs but no unpleasant animal smell in any of the rooms. Kitchen was well stocked, myself, partner and three older children had a great time. The only very small grumble was that the beds weren’t overly comfortable, but other than that we were very happy. "

"This is a unique cute property. They did a wonderful job at transforming a small business into a studio. They had complimentary snacks, coffee and tea. Very nice. They forgot the bathtub rug but had disposable slippers that worked well for getting out of the shower. The lights are a little wonky. It took me a bit to figure which switches are for which light. I finally found a light switch on the opposite wall of the door. I would definitely stay there again if I am able to go back next...

"This is a beautiful home, very roomy and comfortable in a nice safe neighborhood. It was within walking distance of several restaurants and not too far of a drive to the Road America track. Pretty much anything you could need was provided, including some unexpected amenities from our host, Carol. Highly recommended!"

"It was a beautiful home set close to everything of interest. The claw foot tub was a huge bonus. All appliances and amenities were great. The only thing I would recommend is turning the front room into an actual bedroom with a bed for elderly that can’t do the stairs. Art and flowers were beautiful. "
