"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is wonderful, just a short walk to downtown, where you’ll find cute little shops, restaurants, and the delicious Sluy’s Bakery. Just be prepared for the uphill walk back—it definitely gives you a little workout! Carol recently replaced two smaller windows with a large picture window, and the view is fabulous! "A hidden gem. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, with a view of the water from the large kitchen window and seating area that a poet could visit with for days and still not capture all the beauty of. The host is there when you need her, is friendly and kind and otherwise lets you feel as if you’re on your own. Everything I needed was supplied, refreshed without asking during my stay. She also left fresh flowers a couple of times on the back porch table, they smelled amazing in the vases offered...
