"Our stay was amazing, although the road noise in the two front rooms where annoying I guess it's only until the road is opened again on state highway 1. The venue was lovely and we all enjoyed the 1920s theme, we even dressed in period clothing for dinner on the sat night. The house was well set up with everything we needed, and close to visiting the mountain. I would recommend this venue, especially for large groups."

"The owners are kind and gracious hosts. My trip was more spontaneous, and they did an incredible job in helping me put together a wonderful visit to Tongariro. The bed and bedding are excellent. The cedar hot tub is wonderful after a long day out. Most of all, the peace and quiet was great."

"In Turangi for a few days fishing with a mate great for two blokes with own bedrooms and ensuites one upstairs one down off the garage. Does sleep a couple more on a mezzanine above kitchen but not ideal unless young and fit lol. Possibly a bit dodgy for older folks or younger kids. Good clean unit with all ammenities. Comfy beds and good showers. Everything you need and nothing ya don’t. Fair condition for age and nice and warm. Good sized garage to keep vehicle and all our wet gear in at...

"Excellent cozy holiday house. Very clean with all things present that were needed for an accomodation house. Comfortable beds with loads of warm duvets and spare blankets for the cold location mid winter. Extremely effective fireplace with exceptional firewood making warming the house very easy. Both my 9year old daughter and I very much enjoyed the brilliant range of kids books. Thanks loads Tracey and Steve. Was great getaway retreat to base from. Highly recommended.
