"Reviewing for a group of 3. We stayed in the family room for 1 night while visiting the nearby glow worm caves. We had a great stay. Only about 10 minutes from the caves. The property is situated on a hill, and the patio right outside our room had spectacular views of the surrounding region/mountains. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet at night. Bathroom was spacious as well. Small kitchenette had a few items as well including electric kettle, tea, coffee. Complementary breakfast...

"The location is perfect, on beautiful grounds, nice view of the mountains, close to Turangi (where you can find restaurants) and about 30 minutes from the Tongariro National Park. I was a little disappointed with the inside of the chalets, specially considering their prices. Decoration is rustic, but not charming. When I saw them on the website (hotels.com) I had the impression I was booking another room, which looked better. Also, in the reservation it said "hot tub" but it turns out that...

"The cabin was fantastic, very clean and tidy - most of all very, very quiet. The attention from the female caretaker was outstanding, she made sure everything was to our satisfaction, all in all a great stay. Would recommend to anyone to stay there."

"We were only here for three nights but loved the time we had here. It was welcoming, spotless and our fridge was stocked everyday with breakfast foods, even bacon. The kitchen was really well stocked as was the rest of the house. For us, instead of being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves at night, we were able to hear the river and drop off to sleep with that beautiful sound, it really was a luxury home away from home. "Room was clean and facilities provided good. Good value for the price we paid. The staff team and owner were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Need a car to get to the caves, but these were then quite accessible. Generally all good, and would stay again."

"The deluxe cabin was a pleasure to stay in. Parking right alongside. It had everything we needed (excl bathroom) and was spotlessly clean. The toilet block was a short walk opposite which almost made up for not having our own ensuite. My only downside was the lack of a second shower block near the cabin.. It was situated a good way from.the cabin."
