"Peaceful retreat! Lovely home!"

"We really enjoyed staying here! The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. It has a nice layout and well decorated with well thought of extras from the host (shampoo, laundry and tea). It is in a good location with a quick drive to downtown. You could probably walk but it was very hot during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Very nice property. We very much enjoyed our stay. Deb and Alex were excellent hosts."

"This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our girls weekend trip. We had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing time in the evening. We went to nearby Hillsborough Winery then came back to enjoy the hot tub and fire ring on the deck with a breathtaking view. It was clean and exactly as described!"

"The area was surrounded by horses, Horse farms all around, which was lovely. Very quite and peaceful. Enjoyed my time there."

"Great time. In the mountains. Clean. Ease of communication. Would stay again"

"Our stay at the Retreat in Historic Downtown Leesburg was very nice. I met my 2 adult children in Leesburg for the funeral of a longtime family friend, so the location was good for that. It was obviously a great place to stay to visit for historic and fun reasons as well, but we didn't have time the time to enjoy that......this trip, but we would happily return for such a treat. "Great stay, very easy and reasonable."

"Pet friendly"

Bedrooms were on the small side but functional as were the bathrooms. The kitchen was very nice and a nice coffee bar was provided with a Nespresso machine and milk frother."

"it was a clean house and quite area. perfect!"

"I only had a few questions and Michael got right back to me. It is a very convenient area to stay. So many things are in walking distance. It is quduring the day and at night."

"This is a lovely property — highly recommended. We spent a week in Harper’s Ferry with our daughter and her dog. The fenced yard gave the dog what she needed, but the “star of the show” is the house which was clean and well-equipped. The primary bedroom is spacious and bright, as is en-suite bathroom. The layout on the main level is wonderfully open, and worked well for family together gathering, but is also large enough to permit separate activities. There are plenty of pots and pans, dishes...

"The property is very pleasant and well taken care of. The host is easy to communicate with and promptly responds to your questions. The beds are very comfortable and the hot tub is very spacious."

"Storybook Cottage was located perfectly for our 2 day trip for a friendship reunion and to explore Leesburg. Would definitely recommend!"
