"This is a family-owned place and the pride of ownership shows. It is spotless, as they are constantly cleaning. Nothing is too much to ask and they will organize whatever you want (such as snorkeling trips, cars, etc). They will do laundry for you at $6 per load. Massages were amazing at $12 per hour. "Perfect place right by the black stone beach. There are two nice pools with sunbeds and you can watch the sea from the pool and from the sunbeds. The breakfast included in the price is more than enough and taste is good. "

"One of the nicest places I have stayed in. Pool and landscaping is amazing. Great service and staff. Nice breakfast. Villa was very big and clean. A few upgrades to the shower and bathtub area would be nice as well as a small bar of soap to wash your hands. Overall a beautiful place. Wifi unfortunately was very intermittent."

"I was recovering from a difficult time in my life and because it's off season the staff weren't too busy, so I talked to them lots and they became like family, a nephew, and auntie, and I felt so cared for and looked after at a time I really needed it. On Ogo ogo day I actually ended up in town with no money cos all the ATM's were closed, and really hungry, and Sunariyani spotted me just like your auntie would and bought me some bananas just to tide me over, just like a real auntie. "Nice room, everything clean & working nicely. Amazing view from room. It's a more classic Bali design, not a modern design but everything worked nicely, good Wifi. Room had terrace overlooking the ocean with a dining room table and lounge area. Amed is a quiet area, but a solid choice. "
