This listing description was not accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, and etc. The property was not clean seeing as everything was white so it showed well, but somewhat maintained. We never saw the owner or manager and his so-called representative tried, but fell short in many amenities. The driver (DR Rep) didn't pick us up from airport as stated because he claimed to expect us at night but told us he would be there by 3:30pm when the last of us arrived so we had to pay $80 for a cab and never kept his word to return three times for money, transportation or service requests. Initially, there was no golf cart, Wi-Fi and cable. We did not have hot water the entire time, the coffee table was broke, things were dirty, lint towels, bugs appeared, both lamps in bedroom didn’t work, didn't show to pick us up so we can get a rental car, power went out, a friend was missing $300 and so much more. Iberostar Grand Bavaro Resort treated us badly like were not guests on their property. They tried to keep our passports and that dinner buffet was nasty. Activities were a la carte of course on the resort, but we did parasail, drive speed boats and snorkel. I would not recommend this property to a friend or relative.
