ABOUT THE AREA

Our Villa is located at Punta Cana Resort & Club, a gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.

We are just a short 10-min drive from the Punta Cana International Airport, upon arrival your transportation will be waiting and will take you to our Villa. This arrival and departure transfer are not included in your rental.

Miles of pristine beaches with white powdery sand like Playa Serena, a short 5-minute walk from our Villa or The Beach and Golf Club La Cana just a short walk away and Playa Blanca is 30 minutes away in your Golf Cart, waits for you!


THE VILLA

At the villa, soaring ceilings and banks of windows and sliding glass doors mean that sunshine pours in, opening onto a sprawling patio and turquoise pool surrounded by palm trees that line the rolling greens of La Cana Golf Course.

Three bedrooms, each with its own in-suite bath, sleep 6-8 and are perfect for families or couples traveling together.

Begin the day with a dip in your own private pool and prepared-for-you breakfast on the patio, and then hit the golf course for a round of 9 with incredible views of the Caribbean. Villa Tatagua is located in Tortuga Bay, an award-winning oasis of private single-family homes within Punta Cana Resort and Club.
Or let the hours pass on the beautiful, white-sand beach at Playa Serena, sure to provide hours of sandcastle-building fun for little ones. Or let us help you book a private catamaran tour, where youā€™ll see the wonders of the ocean close-up and personal while you snorkel in the gorgeous blue waters.

We can prepare fresh, delicious meals for you at the villa (guests rave over our local fare!) And if you feel like dining out, the resort offers several world-class restaurants. From fresh-squeezed juices and grown-on-site veggie dishes at Bamboo to grilled steaks and shrimp skewers on the beach at Playa Blanca, thereā€™s something for every taste.

Afterward, enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sunset from the patio. Then sink into luxe, 500-thread-count sheets with goose-down duvets. Bright, generously sized bedrooms with in-suite bathrooms mean plenty of privacy for everyone. The master bathroom includes a separate shower and bathtub that's perfect for long, hot soaks

Your personal chef will prepare your breakfast and lunch or dinner to be enjoyed at the villa (groceries are not included). Housekeeping is done daily to keep the villa spotlessly clean, make the beds, and wash towels and linens.

Youā€™ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Additional fees apply to all extra services. Our villa manager speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive to the villa and available throughout your entire stay.

Everything was wonderful. Jean and Yudi were so sweet. They made everyone feel comfortable and we really enjoyed ourselves. All in all it was a pleasant experience. We experienced some trouble with a language barrier with the staff. Also, since we were there for two weeks, the expenses of getting bottled water was not made clear ahead of time, since the water in the house was not treated. Jean and Judy were helpful and Jeans meals were delicious.

Perfect stay

It was our first time staying in Eduardoā€™s property and it was amazing! This house is exactly as it is picture. It is a quiet property, perfectly clean, with an amazing pool and bedrooms. The check in process was very easy, Eduardo gave us excellent recommendations and was very easy to communicate with. We recommend to lease the golf carts to go around La Cana and also Yan the chef, that prepares you delicious meals!

Very nice house and perfectly located. Clean, spacious and well maintained. We did not take advantage of the in-house staff since we wanted to cook our own meals. Made some of the planning a little more complicated for us. Host provided 5 gal of drinking water. Host was very responsive.

Golf Outing

Me and three friends just returned from a 4 night stay at this villa. I have nothing but great things to say about the property. It is convenient to everything we needed during the stay. The golf course was a 3minute golf cart away. The private beach was within walking distance. The club house at the golf course was nice to grab lunch or a beverage following golf. The villa itself was as advertised. The grounds and pool were very well kept. The villa was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of common room for when we wanted to be together and large enough to have some space to grab some down time. Our favorite part of the stay was the food prepared by the chef. Breakfast was good and the dinners were great. Each was freshly prepared and the service was flexible to meet our changing schedules. If the opportunity arises to visit Punta Cana again we will definitely be scheduling this villa again.

Dominican Republic Oasis

We were welcomed by a delicious charcuterie board after a long day of travel by the house staff. Our host gave us a quick tour of the house and the resort and then we settled into the luxurious welcoming home. We had the staff cook a few meals during our stay that were very tasty. Our host arranged a few tours (Eco park, and a Catamaran boating trip) that we requested. He also completed some grocery shopping based on our requests prior to our arrival. We rented a few golf carts which allowed us to explore the vast resort which I believe was a must. All in all, Eduardo and his staff did all they could to help us enjoy his home and our stay in the Dominican Republic.

Pure Relaxation!

We had an amazing experience! The house was exactly as described and even better in person. Everyone in my party had plenty of space, felt safe, and slept soundly. The golf cart was fantastic to explore the neighborhood and get us to the beach and resort pool. Rosa and her helper kept us well fed for breakfast and dinner! The pool was cleaned every day and was a perfect size for us 4. All in all, we had a great trip and would highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic week

Eduardo was amazing and easy to communicate with, made the booking experience simple and straightforward. From the early arrival to the late checkout, we were very well taken care of and pampered. Incredible meals by Rosa and Suleyka. Breakfast ready every morning. 5 min golf cart ride to the beach! Best vacation any of us have ever had. Thank you Eduardo! I look forward to going back next year with the family and new baby!

NO PRIVACY

BE AWARE that the owner lives in an adjacent room attached to this house & the house maids live in a room off the kitchen where they do entertain their guests so you will HAVE NO PRIVACY! Homeowner has a key to the front door & comes in as he pleases even if he rings the doorbell & if you donā€™t hear it, he lets himself in! The day of arrival we walked in to see an empty pool being filled with 1 hose & caution tape around the pool! The pool was unusable for 4 days. Be advised the pool looks nothing like the listing it is a very small kidney shaped pool not heated and there is NO HOT TUB! The charcuterie/fruit plate and champagne that the owner leaves you which I did not ask for & claims is complimentary per the Review on January 9 2021by Alfred F. 1/5 TERRIBLE is NOT COMPLIMENTARY! When I checked over the receipt for the food that was purchased to cook us a few dinners not only were all the charcuterie/fruit items on it along with a $30 bottle of champagne & MANY cleaning products and MANY paper products along with other food items I never asked for and when I confronted him and told him this is unethical he became extremely belligerent! This house & the furnishings have not been updated since the photos were taken 12 years ago This was the worst vacation Iā€™ve ever had, cried every day! I have filed a formal complaint with VRBO calling every few days for over a month talked to 6 people and still no resolve. I FEEL A REPRESENTATIVE NEEDS TO FORMALLY CHECK ON THIS HOUSE !

Overall stay was enjoyable. Rosa was delightful and the meals she provided were well done. There was a mix up communicating menu items. Requested desserts with meals and didnā€™t get any. Asked for bacon and sausage for one breakfast and received neither. The one item I believe needs improvement would be the golf cart. The cart really needs a windshield. This is your main mode of transportation in the resort and rain is likely to catch you driving. Without a windshield you get absolutely soaked. Considering the price of rental a little protection from the weather should be included and should be easy to remedy. Back patio and pool area are definitely the homeā€™s best feature.

Awesome Beach Holiday with Family

We loved how close we were to the beach. We swam in the ocean every day. Rosa cooked a delicious breakfast every morning and made us 5 of our 7 dinners; we all loved her food. Lunch at the beach club was easy. Swimming in the natural swimming holes in the Eco Park was a delight. Our daughters in their 20s loved zooting around in golf carts. Truly relaxing and comforable house, and local on the resort. Felt very safe.

Our 60th birthday girls trip to Punta Cana was perfect thanks to Eduardo & the wonderful Rosa. The home was comfortable, clean and well appointed, exactly as advertised. We could walk or golf cart to most locations and if we needed a ride, it could be arranged. Rosa made a delicious breakfast every day at a time of our choosing & we chose 2 dinners at home that were also wonderful thanks to Rosaā€™s culinary skills. Eduardo responded quickly to all questions before, during and after our trip. We utilized the spa on the property which was top notch and exceeded all of our expectations. If you are looking for a tropical get away with family or friends, we would highly recommend this property.

Summer Family Vacation

Our stay was simply amazing. The home, staff and location were A Plus. Our host Eduardo and Sandra our chef made our stay relaxing. We didnā€™t want for anything during this trip. It was great to wake up and be taken care of daily. We didnā€™t have a care in the world. The meals prepared for us were definitely a highlight. If you book to stay here definitely include the meals. It was worth the extra expense. My family and I will be returning!

Peaceful yet fun vacation

We celebrated a number of major milestones by going to Punta Cana, our first visit there. The property was exactly as described and very welcoming. We opted for Rosaā€™s services. She provided daily breakfast by the pool and four dinners. The food was excellent. Rosa was like a ninja, slipping in out out to take care of things (even refilling ice trays) when we werenā€™t looking. We also utilized the golf carts, which you simply cannot go without on the resort. My husband and guest played golf and it was beyond their expectations. We visited the ecological reserve and it was a group favorite. Eduardo recommended the catamaran excursion and it was so much fun. We ate at the beach club for lunch, food was good. We ate at La Yola once and it was ok. We also ate lunch at the Westin Hotel and it was a favorite for the entire party. We played pickle ball on the resort once, wishing we would have taken the time to do it more. We visited the mall and ate dinner there. Not really worth the trip. We also visited the villages for dinner and that was great. Taxi was only $50 round trip for six of us. Overall, the trip was exactly as expected. Only change we would make is to grocery shop on our own when we arrived. Itā€™s hard for others to figure out your snack choices when there are product limitations outside the states. Great trip and highly recommend.

Amazing House

This is an amazing house and experience. We stayed for a week. The location and pool are quiet and relaxing. Easy access to the resort and beach which we did not use much because we liked pool at the house better. Rosa is amazing!!! She cooked breakfast every day and dinner four nights. It's way better than the restaurant and great after a day of excursions to not have to figure out what to eat. We used the prepaid transportation to and from the airport which were efficient and professional. Cleanliness was a 10/10. Eduardo was great to work with as we had to change our dates forward a couple weeks. He emailed on a timely basis and I always knew what I needed to get back to him. We will definitely be using this house again.

Great family vacation

We had a great time at this house and at the resort. We were a party of 6 - grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. The house was perfect, we wouldn't change a thing. Any very minor repairs (like an outdoor umbrella) were fixed immediately. The bonus - and what made this stay so wonderful, was Rosa! She cooked all our breakfasts and 4 dinners. Her meals were delicious. We had been a bit hesitant about having her cook for us because we have a wide range of tastes and dietary needs but none of that was an issue. The only thing we would do differently is go to the grocery store ourselves on our first or second day. It's really not that far away and it would have made it easier to have snacks, etc in the house. Eduardo, the manager/owner, was very helpful and, among other things, encouraged us to go to the ecological reserve, located within the resort. We would highly recommend that as something anyone going there should do. It was very interesting to see and provided great swimming opportunities in the lagoons. We had a great time and I'm already recommending it to some friends.
