"My family has been staying at this hotel for decades, formerly known as The Crest. We stayed because it was a little hidden gem outside of town and it was cheap. After having been letdown by The Crest, twice within the last year and a half, we were a little leery of staying here again. We are so glad we gave it a shot. Now known as The Herondale. "The tiny house aka "glamping" site was exactly as I expected, It was cozy and well thought-out, and the only element missing was a comfortable place to sit and read etc. in the main area (for damp days and evenings). An easily stowed beanbag cushion would suffice. The "handbook" provided made it seem that other guests perhaps did not expect the tinyness and rusticness, but the property is exactly as described, so read well and enjoy. The river and general location is fabulous."
