Some of the staff was excellent like my concierge (Miguel) and other staff member were a bit rude and inattentive. The pool area was clean on the outside but the pool itself might need a better filtration system there was a lot on debris in the pool and some hair floating around. Also they offered very little activities at the pool or in the resort period. The music played at the pool was one dimensional, I like bachata but 24hrs a day at pool side was a bit depressing. Should play a variety of music to tend to all patrons. Also there were many locals at the resort and staff seemed to pay more attention to them than other patrons. The room was very well kept, my room was very clean and well stocked. Also had a problem when my son checked in, they lost his luggage and wasn’t able to track it down. It wasn’t till a patron who accidentally grabbed his bag alerted the front desk. We then had to follow him to his room to retrieve the luggage. If he hadn’t shown up who knows how long we would’ve waited. Also the resort offered 4 dining options, 3 restaurants and a buffet. Little did we know you that on most days 2 of the 3 restaurants were closed, leaving very little variety and also not many reservations. Lastly there was very little entertainment at night, I’ve been many resort and they usually offer shows or other activities. They were limited to a dj and a band. Sadly I will not return to this resort again.
