"We enjoyed being so close to downtown McKinney. The building is older and was the perfect size for my hubby and I, but felt it needed a good cleaning (including the furniture). The pillows on the bed were extremely old and need to be replaced. The heat source was a plug in unit as there is no central air or heat. I would not stay here again. "

"Do not stay here. I rented this property for a weekend with family, only to find out that it was a scam!!! I emailed the host twice, called the number provided and tried to contact the property manager with no response. Finally I contacted VRBO -while I was driving to the city 5 hours away only to find out I will have to stay somewhere else not of my choosing- (two hotel rooms) so our family was split up. "The property itself was very nice—clean, comfortable, and just as described. I really enjoyed my stay and appreciated how well-kept everything was.The only downside was the communication with management when asking if I could extend a night [for tonight]. I was told I could extend my stay another night, but that changed at the last minute, which made things a bit stressful. Aside from that hiccup, everything else was great and I would consider staying again in the future."

"Pros: The hotel is overall excellent. A major highlight was the evening snack — a fantastic amenity that is very hard to find elsewhere. It really makes you feel welcome and adds great value to the stay. Cons: The only negative point was the air conditioning in the room. It’s an older unit that is quite noisy, which can be bothersome at night. Also, it didn't work very well for heating; during the colder days, the room stayed a bit too chilly. I would definitely stay here again because the service and the food are great, but I hope they consider updating the AC units soon for better comfort. "
