"The first room we stayed in was on level 5 it had no air conditioning and was extremely hot. We were told that the hotel was full so we couldn’t move to another room. The window was very small and only opened a few inches. We asked again 2 days later and were given another fan. However, it just blew the hot air around very noisily. After not being unable to sleep on the fourth day we asked again about another room and we moved to a room on the first floor with really quite and effective air...

"Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, excellent room with great view. Perfect for travellers without transport as a short walk albeit downhill to local bus routes to get around the island. Nice walk along the beach to St Helier and St Aubyn. Easy journey from and to the airport either by taxi or local bus. Peaceful hotel and location but arrived at the beginning of the season. Would definitely recommend Hotel Cristina."

"Staff friendly and attentive. Felt a bit rushed when eating evening meal as we asked for 8pm sitting. Pool and room clean. "

"We were very happy with the seafront location, proximity to the beach and the Lido. We had a number of meals at the hotel, and we were very satisfied with the quality and service. The room was spacious and clean, the room was very warm through the most recent heat wave yet manageable with a fan. Transportation access to downtown and other attractions was very convenient on the number one bus with both pick up and drop off at the door. We would stay here again and recommended it to others fully."

"Property needs to be updated, air conditioning badly needed"

"The property is very dated. On arrival on a very hot day we asked if they had air conditioning that was a NO, we then asked for a fan for the rooms, we told they put on a list asked this for 3 days same reply. They have a nice indoor swimming pool but you cannot open the sliding doors due to bolts rusted in place. Pointed this out to reception, they said they would look at it, still in same position when we left 5 Days later. The overall needs money spending on it We found woodchip wallpaper in...

"Everything was excellent, the hotel it’s self was very modern clean and tidy, it’s in a good distance from st Helier and the park and rose garden just at the end of the road are very good. Went to a lovely free concert in the park one evening and had a excellent meal in the park restaurant"

"One of the most peaceful and quietest hotels I have stayed in. Very friendly staff from reception to the waiting staff. All professional and extremely courteous. Breakfast was that expected at a top restaurant ! We will return to this hotel for sure. "

"All very good. The only slight thing was that we had 2 single duvets on a super king size bed. No issues with bed size. The sole issue was we felt we'd have been warmer/ more comfortable under a double duvet, as we have this at home. I think we were afraid to say, because everything else was very good."
