Mountain retreat near Hunter/Windham Mountain

This house was custom built and sits on top of a hill on 5 Acres of land, just 20 minutes from Ski Windham and 20 minutes from Hunter Mountain or about 25 minutes to Bellayre Ski slopes.

Our house is inviting with a wood burning stove and large stone fireplace to warm you up after a cold day on the slopes. All recreation and living areas are spacious with all new furniture creating a country atmosphere while providing some of the 'cheats' of modern convenience. You'll get a refreshing night's sleep in our bedrooms with queen sized beds, pull-out sofa bed, and futons in the living spaces to provide additional sleeping accommodations.

The kitchen design is an open floor layout with plenty of space for too many cooks! The washer and dryer are located in a separate closet hidden from view so as not to remind you of daily chores.


The Balcony is just off the living room providing access to the ''million-dollar-view'' of the surrounding mountains (take our word for it, the pictures DO NOT do it justice). The downstairs recreation area is nicely equipped with a full-sized bar, foosball table and ample sitting area in front of a huge stone fireplace. We have everything you need to have a great time and enjoy the Catskills.

Our home is setup so that when we travel from our other home we take no luggage and simply walk in. This home doesn't have 'rental furniture', 'a sparse kitchen', or 'crappy bedding/beds'. I can walk in from the grocery store and make dinner for 14 and enjoy the a fantastic night of sleep. Rest assured when you book our home we're immediately available for any issues. We visit the home frequently so it's kept in amazing shape.

Hunter and Windham are quaint little villages with a variety of shops and galleries in addition to cozy restaurants where you can savor a hot comforting meal. Make a quick stop on Route 23 to pick up natural fruits and vegetables at one of the many fresh farm stands. To work off your meals, Windham has an amazing golf course tucked away in the mountains. Miniature golf and a go cart track are nearby for those not keeping score! Grand Gorge is only 5 minutes away for more excitement.

Our house is located in Prattsville which is about 12 - 13 miles from Hunter and equal distance to Windham. Perfect location if you want to hit both mountains during your trip. Three of the bedrooms are located on the main floor. There is a master suite upstairs with it's own bathroom and the fifth bedroom is in the basement off of the bar area, does not have a window. There are three full bathrooms, two with a shower stall and one with a tub. There is one bathroom located on each level of the house.

Our minimum renting age is 25.
