"Lovely cottage, full of character and very well-equipped. Superb location, a short walk to Asnelles beach, and a short drive to Arromanches. Bayeaux is also in easy reach by car.Both the owner and managing agent are extremely responsive and helpful.We visited in October so were not able to make use of the secluded garden area, but I think it would be very nice in the sunnier months. "The host largely ignored our texts and requests. He never came to fix the things that he said would be sorted. The house was generally in a poor state of neglect, fridge door didn't close, kitchen kick board falling off, cooker inadequate for large group. The dishwasher stopped closing at one point and my brother fixed it after borrowing tools from a neighbour. The host just said it was working before. Pool was toxic and not maintained. My great nephew was sick after swallowing the water....
