" A very clean and extremely quiet room in a bustling area. Easy access to shops and restaurants .Service in The Gimlet was excellent. Would have preferred a more exciting breakfast for the calibre of hotel but that is just a minor grumble. It is still our most favourite place to stay in Freo. We will be back again. Thank you."

"The hotel is extremely clean. It smells lovely and is in a fantastic location. We came for a sports tournmanet that was being played in Doubleview. The hotel has laundry facilities and decent packing. Also has an amazing french bakery and Dominos located in the building. Staff were lovely. Only thing that is a negative was the repair and maintenance was a little bit lacking. The rooms needed re-painting and proper touch ups and the drain doesnt drain very well and water floods the floors...

"The authenticity, the sunny little spots to have a vino and read. Shared bathrooms, a bit of fun. Good value. Would stay again. "
