"The hotel was exactly as expected- lovely pool - nice rooms great location with a very short walk to a fabulous beach with a couple of bars - small supermarket nearby Nice staff and management- did not eat evening meal in hotel but a number of great local restaurants a few minutes walk away- a few miles from cavalossim - expect to pay between 400 to 600 which is a little high but due to the taxi monopoly that’s going on at the moment "

"Lovely staff and a nice pool but some communication issues between the morning staff and the cleaning team - had to ask several times for clean towels and bedding as they kept putting the originals back dirty, eventually ended up speaking ti the owner who fixed it promptly. A shame it came to that as otherwise the staff were exceptional, even helping us sort a 6am taxi for our last day at a reasonable price. The Bengali speaking staff were exceptionally helpful. Would love to stay here again. "

"Overall an excellent stay at the Dona Sylvia resort, nestled in lush gardens with good facilities. Location is excellent with direct access to the beach, and a wide variety of restaurants and beach shacks in the vicinity. The staff delivers attentive service and they were very helpful with additional activities such as arranging a cooking class! The pool and the gardens are very well maintained.
