"Beautiful upmarket stay in a gorgeous location. I will note it’s not walking distance to fort but easily reached by a 10 min Tuk Tuk. We visited in off season and had the entire place to ourself "

The guest house is nice, clean and meets needs all the basic needs. No extravagant luxury, however what makes this place truly amazing is:

"The best place to stay. This is boutique accommodation on a quiet street, a short drive to the main attractions. I loved being surrounded by nature in the pool, seeing beautiful birds and monkeys in the trees, bats and fireflies at night. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Galle. "Such an incredibly beautiful property, the rooms had such beautiful Dutch old world charm. If you have the budget spurge and get the Admiral Suite. It’s huge!!!!!! I felt like a true queen with it all to myself. I also opted for the full board. As with many other I can confirm the food is outstanding. "I booked at the Fort Inn, but was interested in a room with a lot of natural light. The lady who owns the place said I might like their other place around the corner, Secret Palace, as it had a balcony, lots of light, so forth. I did like the room. It was a small, but ample for me. "We really enjoyed our stay at Parawa House. We had a family room, which was perfect for us. The family who run the place are very friendly and helpful and make a lovely breakfast. The location was perfect too. The Wi-Fi connection wasn’t very strong in our room, but we were able to use communal areas to get Wi-Fi - which was essential for our preteens! A really lovely stay and we would return there if we came back to stay in Galle."
