"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."

"Srimali's Residence has plenty of potential but it's the small things the owners need to look at. On the positive side, the rooms are big, as are the bathrooms, the location is fine, ten minutes walk to the beach and a couple of minutes to the bus stop into Galle, pleasant surroundings with the occasional monkey sighting and plenty of stripy squirrels.
