"The Rock was a beautiful place. Staff was amazing and the place itself is beautiful. We stayed in the ocean front villa, which is actually three separate “rooms”. A kitchen - stove, fridge, toaster and toaster oven, kettle, etc, with place to sit to eat and a toilet. Then two separate suites for sleeping etc. We were two couples, so perfect for us. "The Beach Samui is everything you need and more for an island escape far from the touristy areas. Mind you the beach isn’t really swimmable but you can still walk along the shore, as well as take advantage of the hotels pool and lounging area. The dispensary and the herbalists were amazing, the quality and variety of products was very cool. The food they serve in the hotel that you can order, I loved them all. They also have restaurants around you can try. I will definitely come back again."

"Very clean and modern hotel, fantastic value. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet has many options, both Western and Eastern cuisines. It is South of the main urban and beach area of Lamai. The walk is moderate, but the hotel also offers a free shuttle (scheduled, must RSVP 2 hours in advance, did not use) and it’s easy to call a cab. "I have stayed here twice and would stay again. Away from busy tourist areas but nice peaceful garden setting with individual cabanas. Across the (moderately busy) street from the beach but was no issue during the low season getting across. "

"Lugnt och stillsamt hotell. Ett lite mindre och mysigt hotell som även passar för barnfamiljer. Vi var där på första långresan utan barn men blev inte störda av de barnfamiljer som var där. Trevlig personal som hjälpte till med allt man önskade. Låg vid egen strand. Stranden hade lite stenig botten men gick ändå att bada där. "

"A surprisingly excellent stay! Given the price, we had low expectations, but were greeted by a spotlessly clean twin room. The shared shower and toilet facilities were equally spotless, with lukewarm water and decent pressure. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A rooftop seating area, reached by a steep black ladder, made a great spot for morning coffee. We couldn’t fault it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Note that air conditioning incurs an additional charge."
