"Only two staff trying to run hotel. Had to wait for a table then service, even though the restaurant only had a couple of people in it. As the girl couldn’t run everything, not her fault. Food was terrible and dry with brown coleslaw. The hotel didn’t seem that busy considering it was Easter weekend. Had the same problem I at the other Premiere Inn hotel in Exeter last year."

"Beautiful from top to bottom - wonderful extras like fresh milk in the fridge, a chocolate treat and great coffee. All staff were amazing - so friendly and welcoming and genuinely kind. We have already recommended Hotel indigo to our friends - just a shame that we were only staying one night! "

"Stayed one night for music event nearby. Location perfect for walking into city centre & train station. Very clean, food good, beds super comfy. Kettle, tea, coffee & towels all available to use in our room. Staff very friendly & attentive. Parking at rear was FOC - nice perk! Very quiet at night - our room was at rear. After returning from our gig on a cold wet April night, it was so so nice to open the front door and the central heating had been put on. 😊"

"We found the hotel perfectly dog friendly and appreciated being able to get breakfast in the large room adjoining the restaurant.The garden was good for short walks,as was Manor gardens across the road from the car park. "

"Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. "

"The Moorland Hotel is fabulous. We would definitely recommend it and when we visit the area again we will stay here without hesitation. The food was excellent and the staff were welcoming. Although we didn't take a dog we saw some in the hotel and they were well catered for with a wash station outside (for after a long walk), plenty of water bowls, treats, spare leads, harness and blankets etc. All in all, at the end of our stay we felt rested and relaxed. You can't ask for much more than that."

"I had the best stay here for theEaster holiday weekend! It was such a beautiful property in a stunning location with incredible views! It’s a dog friendly hotel and they were so nice to my dog who I brought with us. Every single person who is part of the hotel staff is so lovely, helpful and kind!!! Amazing customer service!! The breakfast and Dinners that we had at the restaurant were all so delicious!! Will come back to stay again! 10/10!!"

"On arrival the reception and main areas looked grand and slendid. Helped with luggage to room. Deluxe king with sea view. Very dated ,balconcy ,paint flaking off handrail ,chairs no table ,patio doors needed a good clean. Not enough sockets,no bathrobes or slippers as advertised. Food at breakfast ok,but Lounge Bar food very pricey and poor.Not enough staff.Charge for towel rail in bathroomto be put on.Heating worked only in evening.Asked for a mini fridge before arrival ,which was in room for...
