"I really enjoyed staying at the Owl Getaway and didn't want to leave when my time was up. It was a perfect little place to get away: Secluded and quiet (except for being able to hear traffic on the road above - though it doesn't get a lot of traffic). The screened-in porch among the trees is great! The listing is literal when it says "shower only" for the bathroom: It not only means no tub, but that the sink is in the kitchen. I'll also say that I did drink the tap water, too, in case anyone is...

"My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The cabin is lovely - beautifully renovated, thoughtfully outfitted, and situated in a lovely forested setting. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept on away from home. The hot tub uses a saltwater system which is so much more pleasant than the usual chlorine/bromine systems found in most hot tubs...easier on the skin and respiratory system. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely plan to return to this...

"My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. "This is our second trip to Berkley Springs but our first time staying at this property! We are very happy we decided to try out a different house because this one is absolutely WONDERFUL! So much more room than the last property we stayed at! Communicate from the host was great and the property is very well maintained! Incredibly close to the community pool! Within walking distance! Wish we could have taken advantage of the hot tub but Mother Nature decided to make it the hottest week ever! High...

"Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub!"

Fresh air, a quiet property, and a natural setting in which I could take short strolls. Spotting wildlife, especially the local birds, in their natural habit would definitely be a plus! My partner and I were looking to get out of the city and away from people for a few ways, and this was perfect! "We were really impressed by this place. The home was extremely well-maintained and had lots of small, thoughtful perks that delighted us during the stay. We would love to go again!"

"We stayed for a weekend getaway with our family. Kids loved the house. It was clean and the A/C blew cold during this 90 degree heat wave we had. Had a lot of amenities. Basically anything you would need. We had a small issue while we were staying and Paul quickly rectified it. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! "

"Quick getaway for family. Cabin was excellent, beds very comfortable, wood floors, 2 br, 2 bath perfect for our group. Nice jacouzi in master br upstairs. Ramp to front door, perfect for our elderly dog. Only thing the kids didn’t like was no internet at the cabin - would have to go to the spa to have internet. Sliding glass door to balcony with chairs was a plus."

"We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run...
