"This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished
1. Our sheets had HOLES in them!
2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom
3. No bath mat
4. Insufficient towels
5. Not enough dishes or mugs
6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

"Just an overnight stay. On our way back home from northern New York. The place was nice. It is peaceful sitting on the deck. The check in process was a little tedious with various emails and downloads required. The Backstep is a little sketchy. Be careful walking in. Overall the place was nice"

"A beautiful spot in a very nice community! We loved having such a nice view of the lake in front of the house. Very quiet and peaceful and the hot tub was great! The area rugs had quite a few crumbs near the couch and the dining table, as the roomba vacuum did not seem to do the job on the rug areas. The wood floors were very clean though! I ended up vacuuming myself on the first night with the regular vacuum in the cabinet by the door. We had some issues with the TV in the living room as well...

"I hate giving negative reviews, however.... Upon arrival, access was very easy. The owner/ property manager provided clear and concise information. The property was easy to access, but definitely use a 4 wheel vehicle.
However, the online photos of the property are deceptive. The cabin is not as rural as one would think. The building has much more wear than depicted. The deck is high above the ground and the boards are warped with openings. It did not feel safe.
The gutters had plants...

"The pictures on the listing were not accurate in representing the state of the current state of the house. The fence in the back is wire with stakes and not a fence. One of the main reasons we selected the cabin and the deck was a mess. The place was clean except there was an old pair of previous visitors' underpants on the sofa. The neighborhood dogs got out of their fence and aggressively chased us down 3 times, and other dogs down the road would chase our car. The next-door neighbors' trash...
