Villa Elyseum is a luxury historical property located in front of the sea.

The property spread over 1.000 sq m and it can accommodate 15 people. From there you will enjoy an outstanding view of the sea. Villa Elyseum has got a private swimming pool, two ample private terraces with sea view, a private garden, air conditioning, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be in a pedestrian enclosure, at approximately 500 meters from Positano center, where you will find restaurants, shops and the SITA bus stop . The closest beach is about 1 km far. You will reach the villa from the street level going up a 200-meters public walkway that includes approximately ten stairway steps.

The car is not necessary to stay at Villa Elyseum but, if you have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot downtown (where a space can be reserved).

As mentioned above, the villa has got a swimming pool that is 4 meters large, 10 meters long and 1.4 meters deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and external showers. By the pool there is also a bathroom equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of the main beach of Positano Spiaggia Grande), of the coast and of the sea.

The pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October. From the pool area you can reach the garden, which is partially shaded by olive trees. In the garden you will find a barbecue and from there you will enjoy a beautiful sea view.

On the entrance level there is the living room with high and vaulted ceiling. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. There are sofas, armchairs and an antique and impressive fireplace. The living room is provided with a satellite TV, a DVD and a CD player and air conditioning/heating unit of course. From the living room you can access (through 3 French doors) the first terrace that offers a charming view of the main beach of Positano, of the coast and of the sea. The first terrace is 100 sq m large and it is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and deck chairs.

On this level there is also the dining room, that has got high and vaulted ceiling as well and also from there you can reach the terrace. The dining table can accommodate 14 guests. There is an age-old fireplace too and the room is equipped with air conditioning/heating system.

From the corridor you can enter the kitchen that is fully equipped, with a four-burner gas cooker, a gas oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and other useful appliances. Finally on this level there is a bedroom, with a double bed (larger than a queen size bed), high and vaulted ceiling, en-suite complete bathroom (+ half bathroom provided with toilet and washbasin), air-conditioning/heating unit and from there you can reach the terrace as well.

On the top level there is the second terrace that is 40 sq m large, equipped with a table and chairs and from three you will enjoy a fascinating sea view too.

From the corridor you can enter other 5 bedrooms located on this level of the house, all characterized by vaulted and frescoed ceilings, matrimonial beds, that are wider than a queen-size bed (except one that is equipped with twin beds), en-suite bathrooms, with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with washbasins, toilet, bathtubs with fixed shower (one of these bedrooms has got a Jacuzzi in the bathroom) and hairdryers. There are antique fireplaces (decorated in marble) in 3 of these 5 bedrooms. From 4 of these bedrooms you can access the second terrace and all of them are equipped with air conditioning/heating units.

On the bottom level there is a 7th bedroom. It is a suite which consists of three interconnected rooms: a sleeping area, a sitting area and a bathroom. This suite has got a king-size bed (200 cm), that can be split into twins if requested and a twin bed (80 cm), located in the sitting area. An additional twin bed (80 cm) is available (if requested in advance) to make it a quadruple. The room has a Juliet balcony with sea view. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit of course and it has got an en suite bathroom, with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

To finish, there is also a laundry room that you can reach from the toilet in the pool area. Here you will find a washing machine, a clothes dryer, an iron and an ironing board.

Situated along steep slopes on the central Amalfi coast, Positano is today a sophisticated tourist destination. Characterized by its Moorish architecture and the steep steps that lead from the village to the beach, this picturesque town has long been a favorite destination for artists, musicians and famous writers. The two main beaches, Spiaggia Grande and Fornillo, are both within walking distance; the others are reached mainly by sea. Ferry boats do daily service if you want to take a day trip to Capri and Ischia.

The rental price includes: final cleaning, daily maid service from Monday to Sunday (from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm); baggage porter; beach/pool towels, two sets of bed and bath linen, electricity.
Check in: between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm – Check out: within 10:00 am.

Upon arrival you will be asked to pay a security deposit of € 2.000 (+ € 1.000 in case of meals request). The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
