Casa Montechiaro is a characteristic ancient house which faces the sun and the sea.
Just a few minutes walk from the center of Positano, Casa Montechiaro is one of four independent apartments that occupy a whitewashed, Moorish structure. A six foot high wall separates its terrace from that of the neighbor's, and lush gardens separate similar homes invoking an oasis like atmosphere.
From Casa Montechiaro you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the coastline.
Casa Montechiaro is 80 square meters (860 square feet). It features a nice private terrace with a view of the sea and air conditioning.
You will be roughly 800 meters (half a mile) from Positano, where you will find restaurants, the shops, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the stop for the local bus and the SITA bus at 100 meters (330 feet).
You will reach Casa Montechiaro from the street level along a 100-meters (330-feet) public walkway that includes approximately 150 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Montechiaro. If you do have one, you will be able to park it along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot downtown (where a space can be reserved).
Terrace
The terrace is 10 square meters (107 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table and chairs From the terrace you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the coastline.
Living Room
The living room is paved with characteristic majolica tiles. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and bright.
The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a double-glazed French door. The room has a double-glazed porthole window with a view of the vegetation. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a double-glazed French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from a corridor.
Laundry room
You will be able to reach the laundry room from a corridor. Here you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal.
