"This was my second stay at the Martin Hill Inn, and it does not disappoint. This Inn is the perfect Portsmouth stay. The beds are comfortable and fresh, the space is welcoming and cozy with historical details and the location is ideal for walking into town. It's officially my go to place to stay in the area."

"The room was fine but the bed was not comfortable at all. It was very soft and if you have a bad back I would not recommend staying here. It was small but I expected it to be based on the pictures and the room we selected. The hotel is close to town so you can walk to most restaurants and shops. There was an issue with the air conditioner but it was addressed pretty quickly via a phone call and a reset of the system on-line."

"We are from Montreal and we love to travel to New Hampshire to this spot. It’s right across the Street from the beach and so nice to take a morning walk when the tide is low. The staff is super friendly. There’s a lot of ambiance in the backyard near the surf shack where you can get a drink and hear the live band. Do notice that everything is closed on Tuesday on this property meaning there’s no animation or nothing is open area is clean. We had a small kitchenette, which is perfect for small...
