"The view! The birds singing! Deer, rabbits and a cute skunk way out in the field were all fun to watch. The cabin had everything we needed.Thee dvd player didnt work but Amanda quickly had one delivered to us!The beds were amazing! It rained and stormed almost all 5 days but we were safe and comfy. Cabin is spacious and has plenty of comfortable furniture for several people to lounge around. Played lots of games. Did some reading. "Twelve guys on our annual motorcycle trip. Excellent facilities, beautiful setting, and great riding in the area. Awesome porch with a gas grill and plenty of chairs. We were all impressed with this property and would absolutely book it again in the future."

"This home was as described, spacious, beautiful, great yard and views!!! Plenty of towels, even for hot tub time. Emma was communicative and very helpful. The home had everything we needed. Be aware, however, the opening to the stairs is wide, glad we brought 2 baby gates to tie together to keep our toddlers safe. The train noise didn’t bother any of us, not even the toddlers at nap time. Great place to stay!!"

"We are 4 women in our eighties who have been friends since grade school. We take an annual 4 day trip each summer. This year we wanted to learn about the Driftless area of southern MN and WI. The mansion in La Crosse was the perfect home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Cargill-Pettibone mansion. Lots of room and nice accommodations. We would definitely recommend it to a larger group. "
