The Jewel in the Sky really sparkles! Great space with everything you could think of, cozy and quiet location, still walkable to Hawthorne (for Albina Press coffee of course) or Division. AC and ceiling fan did great during the heat wave, EV charger was a big plus, and all the light switches were labeled!! Angela the host was very communicative and accommodating. We had an excellent stay and would easily book again. Go to Portland!

The loft was amazing. Exactly as described and shown in photos. There were so many ways in which Angela went above and beyond. She left fruit and snacks for us; she had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, down to a milk frother; she had umbrellas and workout equipment for us to use. I could go on. The neighborhood was also fantastic with easy parking and quick access to great shopping and restaurants. Communication was excellent. Check in/out was seamless. We will absolutely stay again.

Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood close to many shops and eateries Angela, the host, is very thoughtful in equipping the vacation rental with everything needed for a convenient and comfortable stay. I often sleep poorly on travel but not here.Angela is also very responsive.I recommend this VRBO and would seek to stay here again when traveling through Portland.

Above all expectations

Great stay in the studio loft. Way above other short rentals we previously stayed in the area. Angela was a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent

This was one of the best layouts of any place that we have stayed. It's just very well thought-out and executed, and they did a great job maximizing the space. It's perfect for a couple. Really hard to find any complaints - we would gladly stay here again.

Girls trip

This was the perfect spot for a quick little girls trip to Portland. Host is very communicative and helpful if you need anything at all. Lots of things to do within close proximity.

Very nice stay. Andela was exceptional with respect to her making sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The accommodations were also exceptional - very clean, bright, and comfortable with all the amenities we required and then some! Thank you Angela!

A great neighborhood to explore and a perfectly appointed place. I usually leave a little note about nice items to have available but this host thought of everything. A sweet a welcoming space.

Awesome!

The owners thought of EVERYTHING to make this a comfortable stay. The apartment is gorgeous, modern, extremely clean and in a great location. Angela was extremely accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Great Place to Stay

Everything from check in to check out was easy and great! Super responsive and friendly hosts as well as a very clean and well organized and equipped place. The location was great for getting to things in Portland quickly as well as getting to the hikes and stuff we did. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Highly Recommend

The space is beautiful and really does have everything you could need for a vacation stay. Angela is also really great. She genuinely cares about people and is always up for helping recommend places to eat or visit. If you’re traveling alone and are looking for a host that’s open to interacting with you, then I highly recommend you stay here.

Fantastic property!

This was one of the best appointed properties we have stayed at (and we travel often). It's not a large space but was perfect for 2 of us; the skylight and windows made it feel larger. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and visiting local restaurants. It was an easy bus ride into Portland but also a good location near the airport and other places of interest.

A true gem!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this studio. It was incredibly clean and in a great location (great restaurants are just a block away). Angela was a wonderful host and we appreciated all the goodies (fresh fruit, delicious coffee, and more!). I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and modern home base during their stay in Portland.

Perfect place and location

Angela has a wonderful property and has thoughtfully anticipated everything you could need for your stay. The property is so convenient to all of the shops on and businesses on Hawthorne. Restaurants, coffee shops and even a yoga studio are just a short ten minute walk or less. Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

Fantastic

The property and host were fantastic. I was able to eat well, while I had an extended stay in the city without having to eat out all the time. It was perfect and the host had everything I could possibly need!!! This will definitely be the first place I look for any additional stays. I have in the city.

SE Hawthorne

A great place to stay, easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Angela was very personable and when the power went out she sent her husband with a small battery pack. Fruit and a few breakfast items were available. I would highly recommend 1915 47th Street

Lovely studio in a walkable neighborhood near restaurants

This studio is on top of the detached garage. It’s super clean with everything you need for cooking. The host is very friendly and responsive. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. Tons of good restaurants within walk distance.

Such a perfect stay !!!

The property is very very nice. It has all the basics you could possibly need for your stay there. Everything is labeled so finding what you need is quick and easy. The hosts are very friendly and communicative. The location is also perfect for exploring the Hawthorne area with so many amenities nearby. It is very worth it and I highly recommend!

First class cleanliness and all accoutrements. All furnishings 5*. Very comfortable.

Host is perfect and helpful. Only contacts you in reply. 5* furnishings. Place is as pictured and so comfortable. A true gem. Good Coffee nearby is a nice walk. Would definitely stay again.

Just right

Angela's Jewel in the Sky is nestled in a quiet neighborhood lush with amazing yard landscaping and gardens. The space was very clean, very modern and very comfortable. It also affords a good deal of privacy as it is not connected to the house. Our stay was only 3 nights but we could have easily stayed a month, for us this little jewel was just right.

Great Spot in Convenient Location

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and our second visit was as good as the first. Angela, the owner, is easy to reach, personable, and has thought of everything one might want or need during a stay. The space is attractive, comfortable, and spacious, with privacy and nice natural light and views. The neighborhood is cute and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and a grocery store. We hope to return again!
