"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries."

"We had a wonderful day and very much enjoyed this beautiful home! The home has everything that one could ask for, clean, comfortable accommodations, a generously sized sparkling clean Jacuzzi, a beautiful and quiet beachfront for evening campfires and room for pet guests to enjoy themselves. "Stay was fantastic. Host was great and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again. My only surprise during registration process was having to pay extra for linens for the sofa bed. At this nightly rate plus the property saying it can sleep 4, I didn’t feel we should have to pay extra for those sheets. Otherwise the property is clean and lovely. I would highly recommend staying here."

"What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. "
