"The property is very peaceful! The home is spacious and well thought out - air hockey was a great hit with the kids! This was our 2nd stay and the property is awesome - it is a scenic drive to Lancaster and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay and are trying to plan a return trip!"

"We came to celebrate our anniversary. It was a beautiful place, right on the water. It was very clean and there were plenty of things to do. We enjoyed the hot tub, the kayaks, and the couples games inside. We had Woody’s tacos and it was very good. The next morning we had coffee on the patio, and the water hitting the shore was music to my ears! The neighbors were a little too curious, but that’s alright, it was still a perfect stay. We will definitely be back. I give it 5 stars. "

"We stayed for five nights. Very comfortable cottage, extremely clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the short walk to the water and the water view from the rear deck. Neighbors were friendly. There are two beaches (short walks), but we did not use either. Chain grocery stores are about 30 minutes away.Definitely recommend the property!"

"Great home base for exploring the area. Went to Philly, DC, Baltimore, The Wildwoods, and Havre de Grace. It was a very busy, hot week, so it was wonderful to have a whole house with a lot of privacy to relax in at the end of each day. The chickens were adorable (my youngest loved them) and not loud at all, in case anyone was concerned about that."

"Great little place for an overnight stay. The cottage is as cute as can be. It’s on the same property close to the main house but is private enough. Sure, no running water and the shower is tiny but it was a fun, cozy cottage. Totally worth the stay and the riverside bar/restaurant in Port Deposit was fantastic as well as a pub along the Main Street. Live music at both places. Thanks for hosting us!"
