"The Captains Cottage was a perfect place to serve as home base while engaged in outdoor activities. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the place was clean and tidy. There is a full fridge and freezer for food storage, but limited cooking capability (microwave and hot plate). The hosts were responsive and kind. We had a great time on our fall fishing trip to Port Angeles!"

"My partner and I truly enjoyed the space and found it to be very cozy. After being in the busy city for a couple of days, it was nice to rest at a more quiet location. This is an excellent place to stay if you’re visiting the area!"

"Lovely, bright, and clean home in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Clearly there is a lot of care put into maintaining and cleaning. Four instead of 5 stars because you cannot drink the water from the tap, which we didn't know until we were nearly there. However, the owner said there is a filter on the refrigerator. The owner was very responsive and friendly. If you want to see the animals then do make arrangements ahead of time. "

"The house is a duplex with a great location in town, walkable to anything you would need. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked and the space was pleasant, it made for a perfect couples getaway. Only complaint was that the bed and couch were not super comfortable for us personally."

"Originally, I found this little gem while I was searching for accommodation around the Port Townsend area with two beds (two friends traveling, not a couple). I like to stay at places that are a little different, I read the reviews here, and decided to book it. Our little cabin was spotless. Super clean. The towels were fresh and fluffy. Lots of extra amenities. A stove and fridge. And even popcorn! A vintage TV and VCR! The beds were OK, there were extra pillows. And if you’re lucky, you’ll...
