Casa da Tia Celeste I, a Home in Madeira

Casa da Tia Celeste I is an apartment on the top floor of a traditional house, located in a rural area by the sea, and is ideal for two people.

The house has been completely renovated recently and divided into three lodgings, which share the swimming pool and solarium.

This accommodation is approximately 33 m² and consists of a bedroom with a double bed (1.6 x 2.0 m), a living room with kitchen and dining table, a bathroom with shower, as well as a large terrace with sun loungers and an outdoor dining table. The accommodation also has a private parking space at the entrance to the property.

There is a washing machine and dryer in a shared space for the three accommodations.

It is equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, a ceramic hob, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (1 Gbps), a TV with international channels, and other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.



LOCATION

The property is located in Lugar de Baixo, which has the best climate on Madeira Island.

It's located in a rural area about 100 meters from the sea. There are restaurants and cafes, as well as the Banana Museum and a pebble beach about 400 meters away, or about a 7-minute walk.

About 1 km away is the centre of the village of Ponta do Sol, where there are restaurants, cafes, and a beach.

The Levada do Moinho and Levada Nova, recommended trails with fabulous scenery, are about 4 km away.

A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains, and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

Nearby, guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing, and other water sports.

The property has access to major roads.



REMARKS

A car is recommended for this location and there is free parking at the property.

Due to the climate, there are also insects and lizards in the rural surroundings, which may be attracted to food scraps. For those who are uncomfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.

Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels.



CONDITIONS

1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.

2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.

3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.

4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.

5. Any malfunctions, incidents or faults in the initial cleaning must be reported as soon as they are detected so that they can be checked and addressed in a timely manner during the stay. Issues reported late for the sole purpose of obtaining a refund will not be considered.

6. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.
