In the hills above the coastal town of Riva Ligure lies the medieval Italian village of Pompeiana, surrounded by olive groves and flowering plants. San Bernardo Mountain protects Pompeiana from cold winds in winter, while during summer it provides the village with a wonderful sea breeze.

The Agriturismo of Silvia and Nino is located just outside the center of Pompeiana and consists of several hectares (about 15,000 m²). Here they grow oranges, mandarins, and lemons, but you will also find palm trees on the property. There is also a small vineyard and an area where fruits and vegetables are grown.

The owners have four holiday accommodations on the site. The family loves to receive guests, so you can expect a warm welcome, and their service is always excellent and personal.

Nearby, you can enjoy country life, with its peace and plenty of fresh air, but you can also go horseback riding, hiking, cycling, and of course, enjoy the sea, which is only 5 minutes away (by car)! The beaches of Riva Ligure are nice and clean. The rocks around the beach provide a great place to sunbathe or a natural diving platform into the clear blue Ligurian Sea. In Riva Ligure, you can go sailing, surfing, and diving.

This house is a fully renovated 'rustico' made of traditional stone and wood from Pompeiana. The house and terrace face south and offer a wonderful view of the sea. The decor is Italian rustic, lovingly decorated by the owner. The accommodation has a total area of about 50 m2 and contains the following: a living room with an open kitchen and dining table; a bathroom with a shower and toilet; and two bedrooms: 1 double bedroom and one bedroom furnished with a bunk bed which can be converted to a double bed. There is space to add a baby bed and a single bed (upon request, in advance). On the sunny terrace, you will find garden furniture and a parasol. The farmhouse has a private entrance, a large garden, and on-site parking.

Pompeiana is located between the cities of Sanremo and Ventimiglia. The French Riviera is about 25 km away. In this area, you can visit many beautiful medieval villages, such as Pigna, with its numerous small mountain lakes, and the thousand-year-old ghost town of Bussana Vecchia, which today is home to the "Community of International Artists." Almost every day, there is a lovely market in the surrounding areas. For example, in Sanremo, Oneglia, and Bordighera, while on Fridays, the largest market in Italy is held in Ventimiglia.

In the summer, the villages organize outdoor events with music, dancing, and plenty of local specialties. Pompeiana itself has a small supermarket, a good trattoria, a pharmacy, and a garage. A few kilometers away is Sanremo, with its famous casino in the center. Additionally, Sanremo offers many venues, both in the city center and along the coast.

For nature lovers, there is the vast "Alpi Liguri" natural park, a beautiful reserve through which the Roya River flows. Here, you can walk at your leisure, or enjoy rafting, canoeing, horseback riding, or cycling. Along the coast, there are numerous surf, sailing, and diving schools, as well as long boulevards with sunny cafes, restaurants, and clubs.
