"This hotel is almost a boutique hotel, and that it is not a chain, has a lovely lobby with a nice fireplace, and is right on the Sheboygan River. This little river actually has people who fish on it and boat on it. It was fun to be able to see the activities of the river out our window, and to go outside our back door, and walk along the river. The breakfast was nice, and although there was no cooked food, there were plenty of options. There were a few frozen items, like sausage pancake dogs,...

"Very Clean. Rooms were a really good size."

"They never had coffee full for guests, there were literal cobwebs on the interior lights, and the staff didn't do any housekeeping for our room so we ran out of clean towels. Then when we tried to ask for more, their phone didn't connect to the lobby and there was nobody physically down in the lobby to help. The complimentary breakfast didn't have any labeling, so we had to just guess what the food was, and the selection they had was low stocked by 7am (breakfast starts at 6). The coffee not...

"The parking lot was resurfaced without notification so parking was difficult. Some had damage to their vehicles. This property seems to still be undergoing renovation. Staff is the shining star of this place!"

"Breakfast was incredible. Staff was helpful. The pool had red sediment/staining presumably iron deposits? Overall felt clean but could smell animals throughout and room was musty at first until we got used to it"

"Blackout curtain did not work. This was at 9:00 at night we weren't going to ask the staff to come up. It was stuck in the highest position. When we came back from dinner. We noticed police cars in the driveway in the entrance. There was no staff at the desk. The police told us that we could go to our room, but there are policemen with guns pulled out on that floor. Why wasn't there any staff to deal deal with the guest? Totally unacceptable"
