"Nice rural setting with direct view of Sleeping Ute Mountain. Generally quiet but a two lane road is nearby as is the municipal airport. The loft is accessed with a ladder and the headroom over the bed is limited. The finishes are “rustic” and simple."

"This is a great little getaway home for exploring southwestern Colorado. The place has everything for your basic needs and the views are amazing. Due to it being small, it is great for having a home base when exploring the beautiful state"

"It had a large living room. The owner allowed us to bring family to the house to play games and visit. I appreciate the space for our visit.
The house was clean and had good pans and dishes so we could provide for my uncles, aunts, and cousins that stopped by. I would recommend to make the stairs a little lower for older guests to enter easier."

"The Bear Necessities Cabin had everything I wanted. Centrally located to mountain biking and hiking. Only 5 miles from Cortez for picking up food, etc. Relatively quiet, peaceful, and scenic. Amenities like a decently equipped kitchen, and a clothes washer and dryer for my extended stay made for a comfortable stay. I'm posting some snapshots from video I captured from flying my drone over the property. This should give you a good idea of the beauty of the area from the property at different...
