"Overall hotel of the very good quality. Only disappointment was at the arrival when we were told that reservations are required for the beach bed and umbrella. Reservation requirement was never mentioned at the time of making booking nor at the hotel web site. Consequently we had to find our own beach and pay for beach bed/umbrella for the first two days. I fully understand that beach’s bed/umbrella aren’t owned by the hotel, but hotel could do better communication."

"Otroligt trevligt ställe omedelbart vid havet, spännande design med mysig, byliknande miljö. Maten på restaurangerna är helt ok och det finns en mindre matbutik för den som vill ha självhushåll. Ett stort plus för den vänliga och tillmötesgående personalen. Ett hotell man gärna återvänder till!"

"We spent at Castello Village Resort one week in September. We have the best memories of our stay. The hotel staff (receptionists, waiters, bartenders) were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean, towels were changed daily. Meals were delicious and plentiful. Of course you can find hotels with more food selection but for us variety of dishes and drinks was sufficient. The hotel is located in a beautriful area in walking distance to small but charming Sissi port and nice beaches. Degree of...

"Ottima struttura "

"Die Anlage ist traumhaft! Umgeben von einer Pracht von verschiedenen Pflanzen. Der Pool war durchgehend auf 30 Grad. Die Appartements bieten eine kleine Kochnische incl. Kühlschrank. Ein Balkon wo man bei Abend wunderbar entspannen kann. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und immer hilfreich. Frühstück konnte man nach Belieben mit einem einheitspreis buchen. Der Strand war Fußweg 20 Minuten entfernt. Die Betten hatten ne gute Härte, was aber ideal war. "

"Fomos recebidos pelo proprietário com muita simpatia e coim uma bela garrafa de vinho; descobrimos que o hotel não possui estacionamento próprio conforme informado, mas sim há um estacionamento público próximo; o quarto em que ficamos, o 308 não aparece em nenhuma foto oficial e tem uma mini cozinha com pia, fogão, frigobar e utensílios dentro de uma espécie de armário, o que diminui o tamanho do quarto; talvez pelo fato de não haver produtos para limpeza: detergente e esponja, os hóspedes...

"This is the first five star review I've ever left for a hotel in Crete. The Lady who liked after us during the stay was amazingly kind, helpful and generous. The property is gorgeous and the apartments are incredibly well furnished & arranged. The pictures do not do them justice. The beach is literally across the road and the town square is a 4 minute walk. Many good restaurants just steps away. This should be on the top of everyone's list of places to stay when visiting Kalamaki."

"Great Family vacation. The people at Kastro Beach Apartments are great. The rooms are basic but clean and the facility around it are great. Very close to the beach, with an available outdoor pool and very good food and drink varieties. The nightlife is also fantastic for the Family. But mostly this Family run business really cares for its Customers. Thank you. "
