"We stayed just one night to help our son move to an off campus house near Pitt. Our room was large and lovely - a grand old building lovingly restored. Parking right there and no extra charge. Just a few minutes from Pitt’s campus. Price was comparable to brand name hotels, but the place is much more interesting. We took a short Uber ride to dinner (love Butterjoint) and enjoyed a nightcap at the hotel bar, sleeping hard in our quiet room after moving and cleaning. The hotel’s bag breakfast...

"Very near to the David Lawrence Convention center, allow anyone that is going for conferences to get there by foot. Hotel have a bit of a "dark" theme (noticed on room lights and key cards for the room). Besides that bed is very comfortable, and the lobby often have a lot of people drinking and interacting (think there was a wedding going on during my stay)."
