1. Maximum Occupancy: Per City Code and Guidelines, The maximum number of overnight occupants of a Short Term Rental at a time is 8 guests, with an exception of children under the age of 6. Commercial parties, weddings, receptions, fundraisers, and conferences are prohibited because they are large-scale events exceeding the maximum allowed occupancy. Code Violations: Violation of any provision shall result in a $1000 fine every day by the city which we will charge to the guest. The guest booking the stay must be booking on their own behalf and not for another individual or group. No unregistered guests (including visitors) are allowed without prior approval. We may request the names of all guests and visitors over 18 in order to verify compliance with house rules and City of Placentia laws. Violation of these rules will result in cancellation of your reservation.
2. Noise ordinance: Per City Code and Guidelines: Quiet time is from 10pm-7am. Complaints from neighbors will result in a $1,000 city fine, paid by the guests and it puts us in threat of losing our license, so it’s very important to both you and us. Please come in during the hours of 10pm to 7pm and make sure windows and doors are closed if you are up and hanging out after 10pm. Noise travels far and our neighbors are close. *Friendly reminder: our neighbors are not on vacation. They get up early for work and to get their kids to school, so please be respectful.
3. No smoking or vaping in the house. No marijuana or drug use onsite.
4. No EV charging or cryptocurrency mining.
5. No pets
If these rules are broken you will be asked to vacate the property. It`s very important to you, us and our rental license to adhere to these rules. Thank you again for understanding and respecting us, our home, and our community!
