"Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Excellent breakfast. Flawless service. Very friendly staff."
"We stayed one night at the Westlands in a newly refurbished wing. The room was spacious, very clean with excellent decor and facilities.
There were plenty of good options for breakfast.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is ideally situated on the edge of Pitlochry centre. There were plenty of EV chargers (we charged our car there at a very reasonable cost) and we understand more chargers are on the way.

"What’s not to like!! The hosts, Jane and Calum, are friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were staying with family. Our room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. We were within easy walking distance from restaurants and shopping. The breakfast menu gave options to please any palate. The porridge was creamy and delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay!!"
"Lovely staff very helpful with my dietary requirements (I am coeliac) gluten free snacks in the room and plenty of breakfast choice. Rooms look a little dated from the outside but who doesn’t after a few years )myself included) on the inside though clean and with a huge comfy bed. The staff work so hard, bumped into the lovely lady owner at midnight and she was still up waiting for late clients despite having to get up at 5am to start work. "A truly wonderful experience. The comfy bed offered a great night's sleep. Gary, the innkeeper was exceptionally helpful. The Scottish breakfast was superb. Plus being only a 5-minute walk to the center of Pitlochery, and a quick 5-minute drive to Blair Athol distillery, was a plus. A real value for money. "
"Nice hotel, but the description on the website does not informs that the hotel has a separate facility where the rooms are located, so you have to check in, get out of the building, walk 50 meters, enter another building and go up to the room by stairs without any help from the staff.
The room was very small, with a even smaller window and a even smaller TV (wich I would call a pc monitor). The bathrrom was small and not very well designed, so you can not use the toilet and have the door open at...
"We ended up in twin room as no doubles left…. Comfortable beds, ground floor was quiet.
Ate dinner in evening in restaurant it was Indian cuisine and was so delicious. Staff lovely very knowledgeable about food and helped with choices. Breakfast was equally tasty, freshly cooked and piping hot.
Would definitely like to stay here again. Thanks "
"O hotel é antigo o acesso aos quartos são péssimos. Os corredores possuem várias portas o que prejudica o conforto de quem está querendo descansar, pois é porta batendo a madrugada inteira. Não havia elevador, tivemos que subir escadas com nossas malas. O estacionamento é pequeno e apertado. O atendimento no check e checkout é bom, mas do café da manhã é muito ruim."
"A warm, friendly welcome awaits at The Rosemount. Lovely decor throughout. Room was clean and tidy with well stocked on tea, coffee etc. Bed very comfy. I enjoyed a good sound sleep. Looking forward to breakfast after enjoying a good dinner last night."

The only negative was the shower and bath.
The shower took ages to get warm, and the bath was not draining away the water. I did mention it to reception incase there was a blockage"

"Nice hotel, but the description on the website does not informs that the hotel has a separate facility where the rooms are located, so you have to check in, get out of the building, walk 50 meters, enter another building and go up to the room by stairs without any help from the staff.
The room was very small, with a even smaller window and a even smaller TV (wich I would call a pc monitor). The bathrrom was small and not very well designed, so you can not use the toilet and have the door open at the same time, wich is terrible considering the bathroom does not have a window.
Confortable bed makes it better.
The breakfeast is weak, with almost zero choices from the buffet; the kitchen made breakfeast, on the other hand, was really good.
Overall, does not worth the money."
