"Our interaction with the owner and his helpfulness to us was remarkable. I even had to have something shipped prior to my arrival and he was happy to receive it for me. The accommodations are first reight, fresh flowers, coffee in the refrigerator, clean and comfortable. Everything was as good as we could've asked. We were in San Rafael for a wedding and this was a perfect two nights for us to rest."

"My partner and I had a pleasant stay in the cottage which was private, clean, bright and comfortable, though dated and as we were told, will eventually be renovated. For our stay it was very functional. The kitchen is equipped with full sized appliances and a dishwasher. There is a small laundry room in the cottage with full-sized washer and dryer, great for stays over a few days. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and lovely views out to the trees. The bathroom was small with a tiny shower...

"I enjoyed my stay at Grace's rental. The unit was very clean and had easy parking right in front. It's up high on the hill with beautiful views of Mt. Tam. Grace was easy to reach. Just a note to anyone with mobility issues-there is a steep staircase inside so could be problematic for some. Otherwise the coffee provided was great to have, beautiful skylights and very bright in the unit. Very cute. Would stay here again. Thank you."

"It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks Swami! The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!"

"I planned a fairly random trip to N SF and this place was perfect for what I needed. It’s like a hotel room with a kitchenette. Comfortable, warm, and clean. It also has privacy. The location is great for visits to Muir Woods and point Reyes. It may not be super comfortable for 2 adults due to size, but if you are a solo traveler, it’s perfect"

"As you drive up to this Sausalito cottage, it welcomes you in with its gable gate and beautiful flowers. Upon entering, the first thing you want to do is walk across the living room to the sliding door, which leads out onto the spacious deck with gorgeous views of the harbor and boats. "Me and my friend used Howard's place as our home base in SF for a week and it was great! Howard gave us some excellent recommendations for food etc in the neighbourhood and turns out his place is just 5 mins away from the best croissants in the city! Easy to bus to downtown too, and we presidio and golden gate parks were super close! Kitchenette was a bit small but very well-stocked and we totally managed. Overall great experience!"
