"Property was as listed. The views were beautiful & we often sat on the patio at night. Unfortunately skies were hazy/cloudy so we couldn’t stargaze. But we did see the strawberry full moon. We had our 12 & 14yo granddaughters with us & they enjoyed it also. Spent our 2 days touring Staunton & was not enough time to see it all. Took the tour of the Blackfriars theatre & our granddaughters were chosen to participate in a short 2 minute demonstration of a Shakespeare play. We also enjoyed the...

"This house was exactly what we wanted: a place where we could spend time with our son, daughter-in-law, and two young granddaughters. We could enjoy ourselves simply by staying "at home" (in the rental) or by going out to enjoy all the beautiful sights of this area. The location was quiet and private, yet easily accessible. "We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! "

"Wonderful home in a beautiful setting! Very comfortable beds and excellent amenities. Pleased that there’s wi-if now! Wish there is a better solution for trash disposal, as we had a hard time finding the dump and it was closed, even though the sign said it should be open. We had a great time and plan on returning for a 5th stay."

"Perfect location and accommodations. Just far enough off the main roads to be secluded but not too far to go out and do things. The cabin is set up with everything you need and lots of extras. We will definitely book again."

"Nice weekend getaway in the mountains. "

"Booked last minute and property met all our needs. Clean, well stocked and good overall condition. Great value! We walked to the slopes both days which was the main draw to this particular house. A bit of a hike but totally doable if you’re in good shape. Nice being so close to the market for convenient provisions. We’d certainly stay there again!"

We had everything we needed and had a great time relaxing by the river, sitting by the camp fire, relaxing inside with a great view, and just enjoying everything the Piney River has to offer. "Beautiful, clean, comfortable, spectacular views. The property was exactly as advertised and pictures were accurate. Kitchen had everything you need if you decide to cook-in. Pots and pans in great shape. This was the best of any rental that we have stayed in. It is a lovely property. Highly recommend and would absolutely rent again."
