"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Hygge House! It is beautifully decorated & every comfort was considered. Our girls were "unplugged" through the whole weekend. They rotated between the hot tub, the swings on the pergola, playing in the creek and roasting marshmallows. The host was very responsive when we called with a question. The Hygge House is a perfect retreat for families!"

The beautiful view of the river, watching America's industry in action while being close enough to dining and downtown offers opportunity to explore. Communication with the host was wonderful and very helpful and super welcoming. "

In town for a Lynchburg University event and it was a perfect location between the school and all of the fun things to do in downtown that are within walking distance. Host doesn’t leave anything out from comfy beds and furniture to bathroom amenities that you might forget and the awesome coffee bar. They think of everything you might need. We had a fantastic time. We will be back!"

"The house is very old & although it's been restored, there are unavoidable things with an old house: very creaky floors & doors. (Not great for people with babies or people needing privacy). Original tubs/showers are very narrow have rust stains. They are clean, but don't look clean. There were critters in the attic & walls. We never saw them, but heard them. Also, the mattresses weren't great. Two of them were VERY firm; the other was thin & old. Also, the area is a little rundown and the house...

"My family and I stayed here for graduation weekend at Liberty (about a 12 minute drive). The home was spacious and clean. All the rooms are upstairs and very spacious. Everything was fully stocked and even had some snacks for us. I mentioned at booking that I was graduating and when we checked in there was a nice handwritten note congratulating me on my accomplishment and a 'Class of 2026' banner hanging in the kitchen, which I thought was a very nice and thoughtful touch. We had a lovely stay...

"This home was warm and welcoming. We arrived for my daughter’s graduation and they had a decoration in the living room and cookies with a note on the table. It was a charming home with plenty of room for the ten of us. When we encountered some water issues they were quick to respond and fix the issue. The host was always friendly and helpful! It was quite pricey for four days but was definitely a good experience. Great location to Liberty University and easy to get to."
