Looking for a multi-home complex with resort amenities for a family reunion, club get together, corporate event or small wedding? THUNDER ROCK is your place! Property backs up to Tonto National Park with a gate to the hiking and biking trails. ATMs are not permitted. The iconic Superstition Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop. Your hiking, bird watching, nature club will love staying here. Binoculars, hiking boots, field guides and cameras are a must!

Our complex is situated on a large lot and features 4 separate homes plus an amazing pool and spa that you have to see to believe. The pool/spa heating is $195 per night to heat the pool to 80º F with a 4 day minimum. There is also a large gazebo with an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, fire pit, TV and more. A swim-up grotto with a bar, fireplace and more can be reached via the pool and a side door.

The 4 homes have a total of 15 bedrooms and sleep 36. Twenty additional guests who do not stay on the property are permitted to visit for an event. There are parking spaces for a total of 15 vehicles and 4 spaces for RVs - no hookups. People who stay in the RVs are not included in the maximum number of occupants. Advanced written permission is required for RVs. There is also a 15 passenger transit van that can be rented separately to guests.

There are kitchens or mini kitchens and bathrooms on most floors. ALL TVs are smart TVs for streaming with no cable or satellite service. There are many TVs in bedrooms, studios, great rooms and outside in the gazebo. Highchairs and Pack N Plays are available to rent.

Three of the homes have decks and covered patios with outdoor tables for al fresco dining. The 4th home has a patio with a fireplace. The two A-frame homes are pet friendly: 2 dogs are allowed, one per A-frame house.

There are outdoor restrooms for events. A designated, outdoor smoking area will be identified for outdoor smoking. No smoking permitted in any of the homes or at any other outside areas.

Apache Junction is a family friendly rural area with historical charm and many recreational activities. In addition to the property being next to Tonto National Forest, Usery Regional Mountain and Dutchman State Parks are nearby and offer a variety of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. Golf, restaurants and shopping opportunities are a short drive.

~ RESERVATION NOTES ~
The minimum age to rent is 28 years.

The names of all guests staying overnight at the property must be included on the Rental Agreement s guest list.

The number of people must be appropriate for the number of beds. If deemed necessary, Arizona Vacation Home Rentals reserves the right to approve the reservation based on sleeping arrangements.

Written approval is required to exceed the standard occupancy of 36 for this home. Unless Arizona Vacation Home Rentals has granted permission to exceed the standard occupancy number, Guest agrees to limit guests, including infants and children, to standard occupancy of 36.

Daytime visitors to home may not exceed twenty (20) people to include adults, infants and children unless prior permission is granted by Arizona Vacation Home Rentals.

Weddings, gatherings or events of any size must be agreed to in writing.

To ensure neighborhood noise levels are respected, the home has NoiseAware, an excessive noise alert system that measures noise levels. It does NOT record sounds or conversations.

For guest security, on the outside of the home is a security camera that faces the street and driveway.

All AZ Vacation Home Rental properties have working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The Cactus Sisters (2 A-frames) permit dogs, one dog per home. Dogs may not be aggressive and must be on a leash when outside an A-frame home. Dogs must be under control at all times and owners must pick up after them. Dogs are not permitted in the other 2 homes for any reason.

Violation of any house rule may result in termination of the rental contract, eviction and Guest will forfeit all monies paid, including rent, cleaning and deposits.

AZ Vacation Home Rentals reserves the right to require a refundable security deposit.

All TVs are for streaming your apps and not cable or satellite serviced.

The pool/spa heating fee is $195.00 per night to heat the pool to 80º F. There is a 4 night minimum.

Guests who are paying the monthly reservation rate will be charged a daily electricity fee for any days that fall in the months of May through September.
