The house was just ok.....a lot darker atmosphere than the photos suggest.....dated inside and out. We have lived and stayed in Scottsdale/Phoenix many times, and this was our least favorite place we've rented. The ranch home is right on a busy street. You must park in the driveway and are not able to use the garage. Backyard has a small unheated pool and nice view of Camelback mountain, but the backyard is not appealling and is surrounded mostly by dirt. Not a great atmosphere for lounging around outside......and there are only two lounges with no table area to dine outside. A toilet off the laundry room ran on the whole time we were there and the washer was out of order. The house was clean, but we could smell the awful cleaning liquid they used the whole time we were there. The smell never went away. It took about 5 minutes to get hot water once you turn on the bathroom faucets in the main guest room. I have never written a bad review before, but I don't think it was advertised correctly as a "villa" and "best location". Luckily we were only there 4 nights, and spent our days away golfing. I'd give it a 3 star but definitely not a 5.
