"This hotel has a nice location and friendly staff. However, the place is in need of updates like a new mattress, faucet in shower, and TV. I don’t think the mini fridge was working. I put water bottles inside and it was still room temperature the next morning. The room felt a bit damp which explains why the AC was turned down to 61 degrees when we got there to dry it out."

"The property was very dirty We stayed in room 230. On our last night there we found a cockroach in the bathroom. The staff was non-chalant about it and just refunded 1 night of our 3 night stay. The trash was overflowing outside every night. The pool and hot tub were really dirty. Stay somewhere else. This place is disgusting!"

"This was a quiet and quaint place along the Erie Lake. Don’t look for a gym or spa / sauna, but they did have an outdoor swimming pool. Lots of trees and a great view of the lake"

"Booked in advance with prepaid option and ended up with the first room on the first floor - definitely worse room in any hotel especially one that does not have a door separating the rooms from the entryway/check in area. Hotel was completely booked and very noisy. Great location and we may consider it again if we could guarantee a better room. Parking was free and available."

"The motel lobby and room smelled. Fridge and bathroom fan did not work. Room dirty, dogs in other rooms barked all night along with loud people. Staff did nothing"

"No hot water, dusty and musty room, phone did not work to contact the front desk, swirls all over the mirrors, door didn’t shut properly. Pool was freezing Staff is apologetic and great. Breakfast was good."

"We made a trip this way to visit Cedar Point. This was a very clean family friendly hotel. We stayed three nights with two adults and three kids (15,13,11). Kids enjoyed the breakfast and large spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable and it was a great experience overall. We are returning at the end of the month to visit Cedar Point again and currently finalizing the dates and thinking of booking this hotel again as we had a great stay !"

"Breakfast was sub par, Best western normally has a good breakfast but this one didn’t. The beds were on the small side, I don’t believe that they were queen’s. The price was high but I guess all of the hotels are priced high for the area, I would expect more for that price it wasn’t a elite hotel, don’t know if I would recommend it to anyone."

"Dirty, strange and rude staff with a criminal element mixed in. The pool is algae filled, nothing works like AC, we quickly just left and of course he refused repayment. There was a truck filled with trash, looked like a place for a squatter and it was the property was completely unkept. I was scared for myself and my family and want no one to ever visit."

"The room wasn't clean, had food in a madeup bed. Spills were on the table and chair. Telephone was missing buttons and was sticky so I couldn't call front desk had to walk down there.. Staff was friendly"
