"Nice hotel, but the description on the website does not informs that the hotel has a separate facility where the rooms are located, so you have to check in, get out of the building, walk 50 meters, enter another building and go up to the room by stairs without any help from the staff. "We’ve just had a lovely weekend at the Old Stables. We really enjoyed the large, open plan kitchen/living/dining area, the hot tub and sauna and the very impressive cinema room. The house was very clean and Hazel was a great host, providing all the details we needed and very responsive to messages. Alyth is a nice wee village and the whole area is absolutely gorgeous. We had a terrific walk in the Den of Alyth and a glorious day at Glamis Castle which is very close by. "
